The Lino Vardanega Memorial has also been renovated, to which will be added the newborn Angelo Scopel Memorial, commemorating the father of the local pilot who died last year.
Valerio Favero, mayor of the city in the province of Treviso, will do the honors.
“It’s great to see how the passion is renewed every year,” says Favero, “but also the desire to give and to give yourself.” All this thanks to the commitment of Roberto, the federations of our country, always dedicated to him stood by, the partners and all the volunteers who always make their contribution. This year there will be a special edition, not only because it will be a completely new show, but above all because it is the first time in memory of Angelo Scopel, Roberto and Andrea’s father, who left us a year ago has. “We are happy and proud that Roberto Scopel has renewed his partnership with us” – says Giorgio Silvestrin (President of the Association Giocaconilcuore Odv) – “and we risk saying again and again how important this event is for us”. With Roberto and all employees, a relationship of mutual respect, but also of friendship has been strengthened. We would like to highlight that this year, in addition to the humanization plans for care in children’s hospitals and children’s hospice, we have been able to donate an inclusive rocking chair for a facility that houses people with severe and very severe disabilities, as well as a chemotherapy machine for children and also sleeping bags for the homeless last winter. In short, many actions that have been made possible for us thanks to the generosity of Roberto and everyone who takes part in this event. Thanks to them we have also received the very important national Gattamelata award for the activity carried out. Our superheroes will not be missing with the addition of an unprecedented anti-hero.”
The appointment has therefore been set for Saturday 22 July at 4 p.m. in Possagno and will last until midnight. There, many enthusiasts have the opportunity to become navigators for a day and get into real rally cars to experience strong emotions in maximum safety.
