The second stage of the IBSA Next Gen Cup 2023/24, which took place in Biella from December 26th to 29th, 2023, also recorded highly significant digital numbers.
In total, there were four days of competition on the floors of the Piedmontese city 223 content posted on LBA's social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, TikTok, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and YouTube), which were recorded via 6,180,000 total views, including more than 2,000,000 from video views. Interactions on LBA's social content exceeded 305,000.
The posts with the most viewed content all come from TikTok, the social network that is establishing itself as a reference point for new generations. The most viewed content was on TikTok, where Banco di Sardegna Sassari players answered the question about their favorite singer and the winners 421,000 views. Followed by the question from the Generazione Vincente Napoli basket boys who answered the question about their favorite football player, which received 215,000 views, and the question from the Umana Reyer Venezia players (196,000 views).
Instead, the communities involved in LBA (ItalBallers, Italhoop, Overtime – Storie a Spicchi and Cronache di Basket) created a total of 103 pieces of content that received over 1,020,000 views.
As for the views of the 32 matches played on the Biella Forum and PalaPajetta pitches, the website Legabasket.it, the FIP Twitch channel (which broadcast 16 matches over the four days of competition) and the YouTube channel of the ItalHoop Community partners achieved overall 166,000 views.
