The International Rally Cup is proving productive for the rally team’s flag-bearers, having returned from a Casentino rally that produced three class podiums, a group win and heavy points ahead of laurels in the various categories.

For the president of the Rosà Club there was also a clear commitment in the R4 class.
“We have two leaders in the group and we won the Power Stages,” says Fiorese (President of the Rally Team), “but since Elba retires, we have to go to Schio to win.” The coefficient is 1.5, the game for the championship is still open. It is likely that we will go to Bassano for training in view of the crucial date of the season. Thanks to La Marca Racing, to my irreplaceable navigator, who everything went perfectly, and to all the partners who, despite the past few years, continue to believe in me and support my passion.”
Second consecutive podium, after the one in Taro, for Paolo Alessio, who competed with a Toyota GR Yaris R1T prepared by Vieffe Corse, followed by La Marca Racing, with whom he finished second in the R1TN4x4 class and was at the bottom of the podium Trophy 4 driving wheels.
The Vicenza stable’s second striker, along with Enrico Sandri, is optimistic about the future.
“We are still in the training phase” – says Alessio – “and we are glad that we turned to Vallino but not to the other two. Somewhat in our favor were his braking problems, which we all complained a little about, and D’Alessandro’s subsequent problems. Theoretically we should be fourth in the championship, but we are still happy with ourselves.”
Great fun, despite seventh in class and sixth in the Rally4 / R2 Trophy, for Giovanni De Menego paired with Simone Minuzzo on a Peugeot 208 R2 serviced by La Marca Racing, happy to have lived a Friday and a Saturday in the middle of the best.
Addition of seconds, in the 2WD Sport Trophy and in the N3 class, for Davide Scarso, flanked by Francesco Scarso on a Renault Clio RS Group N, who manages well to pick up the pace after a slow start and the tenth place the i – finishing touch to add space in the RC5N.
“After sleeping in the first test, we pushed a lot” – says Scarso – “and we managed to bring home several victories on the special stage. In the long runs, our direct competitor always had an extra gear, so we had to be content with second place. We could have done a little better, but we had to take a lot of risks and it wasn’t worth it. In terms of the championship, we have a good chance of signing a contract, but everything will depend on how the last race in November in Schio goes. Many thanks to all our partners and the Rally Team team.”
