The midsummer running classic once again attracts the attention of enthusiasts and insiders and presents itself with a respectable field of participants for both women and men. In Sant’Ambrogio, a hamlet of Cefalù, everything is ready to welcome the stars of international athletics and challenges are awaited that will mark the start of the next World Championships in Specialty Disciplines that will be held in Budapest in a few days. The race takes place at night and starts at 21:00 on Saturday 19 August.
The event, organized by the Ascd Ambrosiana in collaboration with the local Pro Loco, will feature both the men who will compete for the Nino Incaprera Trophy and ten laps of the almost a thousand meter long ring. Both the women and , will attempt to win the ‘Rita Atria Trophy, the Sicilian Women’s Race’, the highlight of the night’s running, over the distance of six laps.
