For Luca Diserò, it’s already an unforgettable Rally San Martino di Castrozza, even before the start when he saw every driver’s dream come true.
Racing in the premier class, behind the wheel of world-class cars, is everyone’s dream, and with the Trentino weekend now in sight, the Xmotors team’s flag-bearer will be able to make it truly happen.
RB Motorsport is providing the driver from San Michele al Tagliamento, supported by Stefano Peressutti, with a Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo to tackle the event of the Italian Tarmac Rally Championship and the third zone ACI Sport Rally Cup.
“Thanks to the invaluable support of all my partners and the trust of RB Motorsport” – says Diserò – “we will start in the premier class with a Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo. A completely new car on two wheels for me.” Drive. Everything will still be open, so we will try to take the measures calmly. I can’t wait to get behind the wheel.”
From a new car to an old acquaintance, those Trentino specials with which he achieved virtual success among the former R2Bs combined with the Rally4s in the previous edition.
An appointment that will soon be something very special for Venetians.
“It’s my third participation in San Martino di Castrozza” – Diserò adds – “and my best result was last year when I won the R2B class, which no longer existed because it was merged with Rally4.” This Participation has a deep meaning for me because it’s the last race my father saw. I’m sure his presence will stay with me this weekend and I’ll do my best to remember him.
Half a revolution, that of a circuit that, while taking advantage of a large part of last year’s special offers, reshuffles the cards by reversing the direction of travel.
We will start with the dusted special show in the city center, the “San Martino Cittadina” (2.97 km), which will take place in the evening on Friday 23 June, and then give way to a Saturday that comes to the plate Timed sections of “Gobbera” (10.74 km), “Val Malene” (18.10 km) and “Manghen” (18.67 km), which must be repeated for two consecutive passages.
“Thank you to RB Motorsport,” concludes Diserò, “because everyone has worked hard for this project and made my dream come true.” Many thanks to the Xmotors team, in the person of Francesco Stefan, who has always been with me even from a distance with such great passion pursued. Thanks to Maxmark and Stefano Zambon, but also to Fabrizio Handel and my whole family. It will be very strange for me to start in the same class as the drivers I race during the season. This time I will not be in the tent to help them and my mechanic friends and to greet them affectionately. We’re new to this car and we know the value of our opponents well. We will try to fully enjoy the experience and grow.”
