Adriatic (RO), February 7, 2023– The Bolza Corse cauldron continues to boil, but finally it’s time to serve a first and succulent course with the recent confirmation of Pietro and Ivan Fabris, who have always been protagonists of the FX Italian Series in the third division ATCC.
After being the first to put their name on the roll of honor in a series that is becoming more widespread on the national sporting scene, the Cittadella family of pistachios finished at the Attic in 2022, earning them a more than positive second place in the category as well as in the RS Trophy, reserved for Renault cars, unable to play all its cards in the battle for the title, having to deal with professional commitments away from the circuit.
A great desire to be the protagonists again for the couple from Padua, who will remain faithful to this hunting ground that has already given them so many satisfactions in the past, relying once again on the Adria Racing Team, who will give them a Renault Clio Cup 4 will provide at its best.
“2022 was basically positive” – says Pietro Fabris – “although we were not able to attend all the events. We took home a double second place, which could have been a success with more consistency at the start. From this 2023 we expect a good fight again in our category together with Bolza Corse, since there will be a grid entirely dedicated to the Clios. We expect a high level of competitiveness.”
“Between work commitments and some physical ailments” – Ivan Fabris repeats it – “I couldn’t be as consistent as I would have liked. However, I managed to attend a few FX Italian Series events and I have to admit that satisfaction wasn’t lacking. For 2023, due to the increasing administration costs, we will limit the appearances and try to collect some good results. For my part, I will experience the vintage with the usual spirit that has been with me for some time. Have fun trying to make the most of the available resources and avoiding damage. We have confirmed our trust in Bolza Corse, our protectors.”
A difficulty in finding the necessary budget for an entire season that intersects with the still nebulous fate of Adria International Raceway.
“Let’s hope for the reopening of the Adria circuit” – adds Ivan Fabris – “because it is the only true point of reference for motorsport enthusiasts in the Veneto region. Its closure has limited and is still limiting our participation in the races today. As enthusiasts who support our love of engines with our wallets, we cannot afford long and expensive trips outside of the region for testing. We trust in some positive news.”
“We are delighted to have the Fabris family with us again” – adds Paola Bolzoni (President of Bolza Corse) – “and we hope, as in the past, to reap great joys together.”
