However, the third set showed Martina’s true courage. Despite a difficult start in which Frech broke her serve, Trevisan did not give up. He escaped from a dangerous situation in the fifth game, then responded with two breaks in a row, putting himself in a favorable position. With determination, the Italian saved two counterattacks before finishing the game 6-3.
