New piece of the jigsaw puzzle of coach education Matthew Capra, before the next season in the Landesliga B2 seriesthe fifth volleyball in a row St George announces the return of Swami Sangiorgi.
She turned eighteen last June, grew up in the San Giorgio volleyball nursery and played in the Rivergaro jersey at the last two regional series championships.
“Swamy is a product of our nursery – explains coach Matteo Capra. – She is back from two seasons on loan in which she has been continuously monitored and worked well. Following Perini’s departure from volleyball, we decided to give her the opportunity to compete in a national championship, recognizing that she has to work her way up and that we are all vital to this project. She is a girl who is in such an important showcase for the first time and needs to show improvement in her technical ability and also in character as the expectations for next season are different from those of the regional championships.”
There are eight players in the San Giorgio volleyball roster. Swany Sangiorgi’s return has been confirmed by opponent Chiara Tonini, top players Alessia Arfini and Giulia Giloli, central players Valentina Zoppi and Chiara Marinucci and libero Greta Galelli. The only new face is Federica Polletta, spikerin, last season at Vbc Cesena.
