Iffe Lundberg could stay at Virtus Bologna who had offered him an exit strategy at the start of the transfer market which the player didn’t accept.
Bolstered by a two-year deal worth €3.5m gross signed last summer, Lundberg is keen to stay at VuNere to make up for a disappointing year that ended in the stands at the crucial stage of the season.
Lundberg is playing very well with Denmark and could eventually stay in Bologna after rejecting Galatasaray’s sirens and neglecting Hapoel Jerusalem’s offer.
