There’s $18,000 up for grabs and nobody shows up for doubles at Indian Wells

The tournament of Indian Wells was marked by a very strange situation on Saturday. Diego Schwartzman and Francisco Cerundolowho were set to play doubles together in the California desert lost the first ATP Masters 1000 of the season and no one showed up to replace them!

Although the $18,000 prize was an enticing opportunity, no one took a seat, meaning Stan Wawrinka and Frances Tiafoe went straight into round two.
