Tomorrow we go Thursday, October 5th To Balikesir (Türkiye) the first edition of CEV Beach Volleyball European Cup.
This new and prestigious event, which ends on Sunday October 8th, will therefore enrich the already busy calendar of continental beach volleyball; All teams that have won national titles in their countries take part in the event.
The defense of the blue colors, as we know, will be the Italian champions Beach volleyball training. The company of Beinasco (TO), who won their fourth consecutive Italian title in Bibione (VE) last May, will lead their respective groups in both women’s and men’s competitions. Four pairs will represent the Piedmontese club (two per draw): In the women’s draw, pairs consisting of Eleonora Gili And Sara Franzoni and from Michela Lantignotti And Elisa FragonasTeams made up of athletes who are always great protagonists at the national championships.
Teams taking part in the men’s tournament consist of: Raoul Acerbi And Fabrizio Mussa and from Simone Podesta And Tiziano Andreatta, the latter Italian champion in 2022 and winner of numerous medals in World Tour events (current Beach Pro Tour). The Russian’s return to international activities is noteworthy Oleg Stoyanovskiy, World champion and winner of the 2019 Roma Beach Finals and silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics; The Russian champion will represent Azerbaijani club Murov BAKU.
