The official debut in the A3, the haircut, the first flight, but above all the appreciation and affection of his teammates: Elijah Fraccaro he is in a whirlwind of emotions. And he enjoys an unforgettable moment: especially for himself, because he has proven his technical, human and character qualities. Plus, even that Belluno volleyball finds the longed-for continuity after three successes.
“It’s all wonderful – smiles the young free man – But I keep working hard: when you’re at this level, nothing can be taken for granted anymore. And every time you have to give your best: there is certainly no lack of desire to get involved and learn“.
Fraccaro made his debut in the match against WiMore Salsomaggiore Terme, in which the Rhinos managed to defeat the Emilians in four sets: “When the coach looked at me and asked me to come in, my heart was pounding with joy. And also a hint of fear. But my teammates helped calm my nerves. The first ball I got? A sensation boom: I immediately heard the screams of the audience, it was unique and beautiful. However, I have become increasingly aware that I still have a lot to learn. In the meantime, I thank the coach for the opportunity: I hope I have made the most of it.”
The trip to Sardinia was also an absolute novelty: “It may sound strange, but it was my first flight. I have always gotten around by ships, trains and cars. In any case, it was beautiful“. The haircut ritual is a must: “As is traditional with the debut – continues Fraccaro –. I always wore a hat at the airport because I was ashamed. All joking aside, it was fun: some memories will remain indelible.”
Now, however, it is important to prepare in advance for the Piedmontese game against Monge Gerbaudo Savigliano, scheduled for Saturday evening (8:30 p.m.): “I expect courage and determination from the team. We put a lot of pressure, especially in training, and can hardly wait until the weekend to be on the pitch“.
Fraccaro dreams: “Playing at this level is a unique feeling. And this is especially because I can interact with exceptional classmates: they give me advice and constantly help me. I want to try to learn as many things as possible to create a technical background. And also personally: I’m sure I’ll need it in the future“.
