Charles Barkley confidently expressed his prediction for the NBA champions during the NBA’s pre-game segment on TNT ahead of the quarterfinals of the in-season tournament between the Boston Celtics and the Indiana Pacers.
He said, “I’m still not sold on the Timberwolves, that’s just my personal opinion,” adding, “But I’ll put it this way: The Celtics are going to win the championship.” He praised the Celtics and claimed that they were the best team in the NBA and would definitely win the championship.
However, Barkley expressed concern about Kristaps Porzingis’ condition, stating that his injury was the only concern for the team. He emphasized that Porzingis doesn’t have to be dominant, but is simply the best fourth player in the NBA.
