Imola, February 14, 2023 – Referring to the communication from the creators of Tennis on the Racetrack, announcing the decision to cancel the event scheduled for May 23, 2023 at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari International Circuit, as they overlapping Formula 1 Made in Italy and participating in Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, Formula Imola SpA would like to clarify the following.
– We acknowledge the unilateral decision of CC LAB Italia Srl to cancel the event in question. As a partner, Formula Imola remembers that it has always proposed organizational and professional solutions in line with the “Tennis on The Race Track” project and confirmed the date of May 23, 2023. A date that will certainly benefit from international visibility could of the previous F1 GP event.
– CC LAB Italia Srl refused any confrontation and decided to apply to the court of Bologna for an emergency regulation. Formula Imola presented the executive projects in a professional manner, in line with the format of the event, in order to carry out the lineups in a timely manner and to trust the relevant decisions of the court.
We do not want the unfounded decision of CC LAB Italia Srl to be dictated by other reasons and thus definitively jeopardize the organization of an event of certain interest for the Imola circuit.
