Mohammadjavad Manavinezad, yesterday, Wednesday, November 29, 2023, underwent surgical reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee. The operation was carried out in Rome at the Villa Stuart nursing home by Professor Pier Paolo Mariani, an internationally renowned orthopedic surgeon and specialist in knee diseases.
The operation had a positive result and only affected the cruciate ligament and not the meniscus, since Prof. Mariani’s medical team did not detect any severity in this specific trauma that required intervention; It was highlighted that the meniscus trauma preceded the injury suffered by the athlete on November 12 during the match against Rana Verona.
Today, Manavi began rehabilitation together with the physiotherapists at Villa Stuart and was able to count on a team of specialists to restore the mobility of the knee in the shortest possible time.
