However, he will manage to become the future WTA Executive President as soon as his successor is named. Furthermore, Simon expressed his wish that the person chosen for the role should be a woman: “I think we prefer to find a female candidate. I think it makes sense. It would be the best choice for the long-term interests of the organization.”
