Sloane Stephens poses in Jamaica
Sloane Stephens has never been shy about speaking out on social media or posting her own quirky photos. We now find her in Jamaica, immersed in the fun and colorful atmosphere of the local carnival, in a rather “aggressive” typical costume that does not hide her physique. “Officially a carnival girl,” writes the American.
The 2017 US Open winner enjoys a moment of relaxation on the Caribbean island, showing off a special outfit for the Xodus carnival, an explosion of color and joy. Sloane’s family is originally from the island of Trinidad.

Stephens has always had a passion for fashion and has spoken of using her fame to promote a positive image through her foundation. “I am so fortunate to have this platform and absolutely recognize the opportunity I have to positively impact others,” she told Shape magazine. “Since we started in 2013, my foundation has supported more than 8,000 young people, so I always think about these children before I do anything. Would you feel inspired to read or see what I have done? Would her parents be proud to have their child on my show? I’m all about representation – I think it’s so important for young people and especially girls of color to have positive role models who look like them and do amazing things.
