Paula Egonu is still spoken of, unfortunately for the worst of reasons. The opposite blue is once again the target of racial insults and insultsthis time unequivocal and undeniable because they are printed on a wall: that of the Conad supermarket in via Carducci in Bergamo. The city council has denounced it Simon PaganoniThe in a Facebook post explains that he reported the nefarious writings that appeared in the pedestrian tunnel to the shop more than a month ago: “Egonu is not Italian, she is black‘ reads the first while the other, perhaps worse, praises the use of gas used by the Nazis in the death camps against ‘homo, gay, lesbian and trans“.
The fact that the Becere racist and homophobic lettering 35 days after the complaint caused a stir and disbelief, are still present: the supermarket, consulted by tuttosportlimited himself to explaining that “They will be removed as soon as possible“. In the meantime, however, another ugly side of racism has written itself in people’s heads and on the walls, confirming the complaints made public and all too often underestimated or even denied by the blue champion herself.
