The Spanish champion, Rafael Nadal, announced his withdrawal from the 2024 Australian Open due to a muscle injury. In a message to his fans, Nadal expressed his disappointment and the details of the injury.
“Hello everyone, in my last fight in Brisbane I had a little muscle problem which as you know was worrying me. When I arrived in Melbourne I had the opportunity to have an MRI and it turned out I had a micro tear in a muscle, not in the same place as my previous injury, which was a good one Message is.” Nadal wrote.
