Two races in four days to end 2023. TheABBA Pineto and the entire A2 Credem Banca series are preparing for another tour de force, the last of the calendar year, between the two halves of the regular season. The December 26th Next up (6 p.m.) is the last game of the first round: The White and Blue visit Consar Ravenna for a game, rankings in hand, difficult and on the field one of the fittest teams in the championship.
ABBA comes from a complex time. Giacomo Tomasello’s boys haven’t won since November 19th last year – the 3-2 at home against Porto Viro – and in between they took the two tiebreak points they won, although they lost, against Ortona and league leaders Grottazzolina. Total: 12 points (from four wins and six games that ended in the fifth set), compared to 23 for a Consar Ravenna team that just returned from three straight wins to jump to fourth place.

We are confident about the trip to Ravenna and I can say that we will do our best. I believe that Pineto is a team made up of good players and that in this moment there is a desire for revenge and it must be responded to.”
