José Mourinho, Roma coach, speaking against Sevilla ahead of the Europa League final
Jose Mourinho spoke with Sky Sports After in view of Rome-Seville.
INJURED – “Lorenzo has recovered, he won’t be in Florence because he has a small problem that isn’t worrying, but using him on Saturday would be a risk.” From Sunday he will train with us as usual. I don’t expect anything from Paulo: if he can sit on the bench and help us a little like he did at Feyenoord, that would be a positive. Spinazzola is in doubt, I hope to bring him back: not for Saturday, but for the final. If Leo gives positive signals on Monday/Tuesday I hope to have him.”
THE FINAL – “Tirana from a year ago is history, it’s here. Done and done, it’s a memory for many. We hope that the children can remember this with their children for many years to come. That’s a game we want to play, we’re going to play it on Wednesday. The certainty is that we will be there and will not go on vacation. The stadium is beautiful, we won’t be going there on vacation. At the moment there are no braces, there is a conference that we won and a final that we have to play. I don’t like to talk about a one-two because there isn’t one. What I’m saying is that I’ve liked the work done here from day one. It may not be the strongest team I’ve worked with, qualitatively or quantitatively, but on a human level it’s one of the best teams of my career.”
