Emotions, smiles and a lot of solidarity at the Charity Christmas Night of Volley Bergamo 1991, which took place in the wonderful setting of the Piajo Resort in Nembro.
Once again, in the middle of the evening that opens the Christmas holidays, the solidarity auction enlivened and involved the partners and athletes who were ready to take part in the fundraising dedicated to itSports Academy for Solidarity.
An extraordinary duo consisting of Andrea Venetians and Federica Fed upconducted the auction to secure the 16 ironic and funny shots of an unpublished and special work like that of the 2024 calendar. And Thanks to the generosity of the guests, 24,500 euros were raised.
The painting that was the most successful? The picture shows President Chiara Paola RusconiAnna DavyskibaLaura Melandri and the physiotherapist Matteo Gandolfi in the Habilita hyperbaric chamber: Sold for 3,100 euros. THE PROJECT. Volleyball Bergamo 1991 is on the side ofSports Academy for Solidarity to support the expansion of the day clinic oncology service San Francesco Nursing Home in consultation with ASST Papa Giovanni XXIII, a unique model of public-private collaboration launched in September 2022 and allowing the production of oncological drugs in the Pharmacy of Pope John XXIII. and their administration in the day clinic of the Casa di Cura San Francesco.
Within a year there was a significant increase in requests, which created the need to expand the rooms for cancer patients in order to reduce waiting lists. The project therefore includes the creation of a large “open space” with the availability of 11 workstations (9 armchairs and 2 beds) and continuous monitoring by nursing and medical staff.
