Mario Ghiacci protagonist in the columns of La Gazzetta dello Sport, with which he analyzed the positive dynamics of Pallacanestro Trieste.
“I would say excellent, we come from 4 successes in a row. We were good at staying compact when we faced some prohibitive challenges early in the season. And we have great faith in our coach Legovich, who grew up with us.”
The new owner thinks big.
“The entry of CSG was important in many respects: first and foremost economically, because it was by no means a matter of course after Allianz. Then it created enthusiasm among the fans and finally it gives us a medium-term perspective within the club, because the goals of the CSG members are clear: they want to bring Trieste back to Europe.
A new breath of enthusiasm is blowing through the city.
“The arrival of the new owners, a job well done on ticketing and communications, the addition of a tall man like Terry in Pacher’s place have only reignited a fire that has been smoldering in Trieste since the advent of Covid. Before the pandemic, we were among the top companies in terms of building completion rate of over 80%. We want to get back to those numbers to be great.”
