Alex Paganin undresses: the captain of the From Rold Logistics Belluno (Series A3) tells with a smile this personal and curious side of himself, through a journey of words that starts from a boundless passion for Ducati. And it goes to Japan.
Speaking of DRL, the captain says: “DRL is a big family. When you join this team, you realize that you are part of something more. It also affects the sense of belonging one feels towards the place where one lives. Wearing your city’s shirt spurs you on to go further“.
Paganin also describes himself: “The words that best describe me are heart, courage and will to win. If I had to use three adjectives I would say I am determined, ambitious, stubborn. As for my faults, I would say that I’m stubborn and also very messy“.
Then the captain talks about past games: “One of the games to remember is won the last climb with Portogruaro 3-1 in front of almost a thousand spectators: the arena was a mess. What to forget instead is against Brugherio last season: in that loss in 4 sets against the bottom of the table we hit rock bottom“.
Paganin then starts talking about his interests beyond volleyball: “When I was little, I used to paper walls and wardrobes with pictures of all the Ducatis that have been built over the years: from the Cucciolo to the Moto GP Desmosedici. As for the movies – continues Paganin – I’m very fond of the Lord of the Rings trilogy: I almost know the lines by heart; my favorite tv series is Westworld instead. The trip I dream of? Definitely Japan“.
He then concludes with a message to fans: “Thank you for being so numerous and warm. And I invite you all to the next two home games: your support will be essential to collect the points necessary for the playoff race“.
