The 30th round of EuroLeague yesterday featured Virtus Bologna’s home KO against Real Madrid and Olimpia Milano’s success against Bayern Munich.
In the playoff race, the Bianconeri are now almost out of the game, for Olimpia Milano there is still a very faint hope. In any case, both are not masters of their destiny.

The situation of the Italians
To qualify for the playoffs, both Italian teams need to win their last four games and hope for a sharp drop in the lead. Without going into too much detail, we’ll do the math later. Let’s remember that Virtus did not have a positive direct game against any of the teams in front of them, even if they still have to play against Milan, Efes, Valencia and Maccabi.
Olimpia Milano, who have only had positive encounters with Valencia and Partizan, now have to face Baskonia and Zalgiris and try to defeat them both. In short, both Lithuanians and Basques have to draw 2-2 in this season finale.
