There Carpegna ham basket Pesaro announces that an agreement has been reached to bring back the red and white jersey Andrea Cinciarini. The playmaker “Cincia”, born in 1986, began his career in the youth ranks of the club from Pesaro, with whom he made his debut in the top league in October 2003.
In 2004/2005 he defended the colors of Virtus Pesaro, then it was the turn of the experiences in Senigallia (B d’Eccellenza), Pistoia, Montegranaro and Cantù. In 2012, he began his journey with the Reggio Emilia jersey, which made him known to a wider audience: with the Emilians he won the EuroChallenge – was voted MVP of the tournament – and then reached the championship final.
In the summer of 2015 he moved to Olimpia Milano and became captain in 2016. Cinciarini spent six seasons in the Milan jersey, during which he achieved great satisfaction, as evidenced by winning two championships, three Italian Cups and four Italian Super Cups.
In the summer of 2021 he will return to Reggio Emilia and write a page in championship history thanks to the triple-double achieved in the game against Treviso: this is an absolute first. Cinciarini has an important connection to records: on January 8, 2023, he became the active player with the most assists in Serie A.
For 2023/2024, he decides to open a new chapter in his long career: for the first time he actually crosses national borders and accepts the proposal of Zaragoza, a team involved in the highest Spanish championship and also in the continental level the European Cup .
Cinciarini can also boast of having participated in four editions of the European Championship with the Italian national team jersey. Now he returns home to his Pesaro.
