The path ends in ninth place Marta Menegatti and Valentina Gottardi at the Challenge tournament LaPaz of the Beach Pro Tour 2023. In fact, during the Italian night, the Italians were overtaken by the Brazilians Talita/Thamela with a score of 2-0 (21-18, 21-17) in the match valid for access to the championship quarterfinals of the Mexican tournament . In the first part, the Brazilians started off strong and were able to manage the lead well until they finished the set with their own lead of 21:18. In the second game, after slipping back, Marta and Valentina tried to react by playing point by point, but in the final Talita/Thamela started to grind again, finishing set and match (21-17).
