Fortitudo Pallacanestro is pleased to announce the continuation of the relationship with athlete Alessandro Panni, who will also wear the Fortitudo Flats service jersey in the 2023/24 sports season. Therefore, the paths between Effe and Spiel/Wächter, born on December 27, 1991 in Thiene, are now reunited. Panni grew up first in the youth teams of Vicenza and then Verona and immediately gained extensive experience in the amateur championships, where he wore the jerseys of Villafranca, Montegranaro, Pordenone and Orzinuovi. In 2015, Alessandro moved to Bergamo, where he stayed a couple of seasons and amass ever-growing numbers. In the summer of 2017, Panni arrived in Ferrara, where he played five straight seasons in Serie A2, averaging 8.7 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in 2021/22, which was in the playoffs increased to 14.2 points per game series played against Piacenza. In his final competitive season with the Fortitudo Flats Service, Alessandro averaged 6.6 points and 2 assists per game in the regular season and increased that number to 9 points per game in the six games of Stage Two. In the 7 games of the playoffs (against Cento and Cremona), Panni played an average of 19 minutes and averaged 5.8 points and 2 assists, scoring 40% from 3 points. Panni, a player also appreciated and sought after by the new Effe coach – Attilio Caja – will return to wear the number 11 shirt of the Flats Service and again this year all his experience and ability as a teamman to be, to bring to the parquet.
