According to Prealpina, Pallacanestro Varese is looking for a replacement for James Young, whose contract expires on January 31st.
The team will make use of the option to withdraw from the player's contract, who did not appear on the field in the last two games against Chemnitz and Cremona.
As a replacement, Varese is looking for a winger who can play primarily as a number 4, has the ability to shoot from outside and can integrate into rotations for 15-20 minutes without upsetting the current hierarchies.
Replacement candidates include Justin Jackson and NBA veteran James Ennis, although Varese would prefer a younger and potentially useful profile for the 2024-25 season.
The final decisions will be made during the championship break from February 11th to March 3rd, when the transfer market moves across Europe.
