The draw for the group composition took place today via video conference U22 Women's European Championship which will take place Taranto and Lecce from July 1st to 6th, 2024.
The 8 teams that will take part in the continental competition have been divided into two groups.
ItalySerbia was accepted into Pool I as the host country as number 1. However, Serbia was entered into Pool II as the top seed based on the rankings. The remaining six national teams were divided into three groups of two teams each according to their placement in the rankings.
The Italian U22 national team, led by DT Marco Mencarelli, were drawn together with Turkey, Ukraine and Latvia. However, Serbia, Poland, Portugal and the Czech Republic face each other in Pool II.

Pool I: ItalyTürkiye, Ukraine, Latvia.
Pool II: Serbia, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic.
