First game of the year and penultimate of the first round for the Clementine 2020 what that welcomes and challenges Wind of happiness from Trevi in a position to give the previously unbeaten Tuscan league leader Castelfranco di Sotto a clear 3-0 before the long Christmas break.
That's precisely why the game was very emotional and the tension was palpable on the thin playing field.
In the first set, however, the Clementines immediately gained a nice lead, which they exploited until the end despite the guests' late awakening. In the second case, exactly the opposite happens, that is, it is the Trevana who take advantage, leaving Saveriano and his teammates behind while dealing with the usual problems of reception and attack. In the subsequent rounds there is no story, the entire difference in performance between the two teams comes to light, with a superlative performance from Valentina Fedeli, who takes her teammates by the hand and leads them to a 3-1 final.
Coach Paniconi Starts with: Saveriano and Stafoggia diagonally, Grilli and Canuti in the middle, Fedeli and Dalla Rosa in the band and Sposetti libero.
September 1st Clementina started very well thanks to the two aces from Grilli and Stafoggia as well as the attacks from Canuti and Fedeli, forcing the Umbrian coach to talk about it immediately, winning 10-6. Esine's attentive and challenging game continues with captain Saveriano serving at 13-6. The Trevanians fight but do not give up and try in every possible way to get back into the game with a good block from Danaila and a precise attack from Corradetti, 17-15. With two good points, Fedeli brings the Clementines back to the right distance, 20-16. Greater precision and determination in attack ensure that the guests are in the lead with 6:11. After Paniconi's timeout, the Clementines regroup and get five consecutive breaks on Fedeli's serve, overtaking them at 12. Now the game experiences its decisive moment with alternating moments in which both teams chase each other, 15-16. Paniconi tries the diagonal change, using Paparelli and Usberti to always take advantage of the three-man attack, but the attempt does not bring the desired results, 18-22. The Clementines didn't give up and got within -2 of their opponents, but they didn't allow any more space and finished with a courageous attack from the middle by Gresta with 22:25.
3rd sentence. Immediately 4 to 0 for the Clementines after Grilli's serve, then 4 consecutive points from a wild Fedeli push the Esine further away, 10-4. However, Luky Wind does not tremble and recovers on the Marche P1, which comes into contact, 11-10. The two teams now battle it out blow for blow, with the fear of mistakes overpowering the beauty of the game. Clementina is always ahead and the Umbrians, fighting for every ball, are chasing, 15-15. An attack from the former Canuti and a good block from Fedeli put the Esine back in the lead, 18-15. Meanwhile, the Clementines have regained confidence and calm and with determined and elusive attacks they are within a safe distance with a score of 23:18. It's another block from the irrepressible Fedeli to end the set and give the Ancona side the lead again at 25-18.

Sposetti blocks his area of expertise and gives precise balls to his setter, who offers Canuti and Stafoggia delicious chocolates, 21-10. Now there is only one team left on the field, while in the stands the Ultras continue to drum and the large crowd cheers them on, the Clementines close the set and the game with a big lead thanks to an attack from newcomer Pizzichini, 25. 15.
