There Givova Scafati is pleased to announce the agreement reached Alessandro Giulianiwho strengthens and enriches the management team of Gialloblù by taking on the role of first head of the technical area and direct contact with the owners.
Alessandro Giuliani, born on August 2, 1968 in Vicenza, began his career in 1989 as a coach in the youth team of Verona before becoming Mazzon’s assistant at Scaligera Basket in 1996, with whom he won the Korac Cup in 1998.
Also in Verona, he was assistant to Faina and Lardo, whom he followed to Reggio Calabria in 2002 until he was promoted to head coach of the Calabrian club in 2004.
In 2005 he was coach and general manager at Avellino, while the following season he was assistant and scouting manager at Rieti in Legadue, with whom he won the championship.
From 2009 to 2010 he was general manager of Pallacanestro Biella before moving to Brindisi, where he held the position of scout and head of player personnel.
In 2012 he became general manager of Tezenis Verona in Legadue, before returning to Brindisi (Serie A) as general manager, a position he held until 2018.
In 2018/2019 he took on the role of scout and head of player personnel as well as head of the youth academy at L’Aquila Basket Trento (Serie A).
Then the return to Verona (from 2019 to 2021) with the role of General Manager, Head of Scouting and Tecruiting and Director of the Youth Academy, before taking up again the role of Player Personnel Director and Advisor to Sebastiani Rieti (Serie B).
Most recently, he served as a sportslabnetwork consultant for managers and players and was involved in scouting services for foreign clubs (Seoul Samsung Thunders and Gravelines).

After the last few years as a consultant, during which I missed the work week for the Sunday race, I was keen to get back into the field. I have been asked to act as a filter between the club and the team and I will do my best to fulfill the task given to me as best as possible».
