Pallacanestro Fiorenzuola 1972 announces that his first-team head coach will not be Simone Lottici in the 2023/2024 season, the decision having matured by consensus.
Simone Lottici was called up to the Fiorenzuola Bees bench during the season and, out of gratitude to the yellow-blue club with whom he has had a mutual esteem for years, decided to accept until the end of the season. This season he managed to write another page important part of his adventure in Val d’Arda.
Achieving the goal of keeping the next Serie B Eccellenza after the Serie beat Andrea Costa Imola 3-0 actually followed a four-year experience of yellow and blue in Serie C gold between 2015 and 2018 and winning a Coppa Emilia, one playoff final and two playoff Series C gold semifinals.
The relationship between coach Lottici and the yellow and blue club will continue to be strong and characterized by the utmost friendship and mutual respect, with the parties exploring a possible new joint role aside from the role of head coach in recent weeks.
The entire Pallacanestro Fiorenzuola 1972 club would like to sincerely thank coach Lottici for the availability shown this season which, combined with his technical ability, has helped the Fiorenzuola Bees to crown the current season in the best possible way.
The company also announces that the name of the head coach for the 2023/2024 season will be communicated in the coming days.
